MAC Construction was founded in 1974 and has built a solid history of providing our customers with quality workmanship, efficient scheduling and conscientious management of their projects. Our goal has always been to build trust with our clients as we build each project, and we are proud of the repeat customers we have developed in the private and public sector as well as the excellent long-standing relationships we have with subcontractors and suppliers in the region. Over the years, MAC has specialized in and excelled at complicated, large scale renovations and additions that have unique and demanding project constraints; these projects have led us to have a culture of creativity and ingenuity that we bring to every client we serve. Our continued success as a company is due to our management skills in the field and office, our ability to safely guide projects to completion on time and on budget and our ability to work professionally and efficiently with the owners, designers and other stakeholders in our projects.
Mac Construction has been consistently active as a General Contractor on competitively bid projects. Our diverse portfolio also includes well over $50 million worth of Design-Build or Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) projects. Our continued success in a competitive bidding market is a testament to our ability to deliver projects at best value for our clients.

WHAT WE DO
Unite, Define, Develop
Unite
The first step is to bring the team together so that we can all work with a common vision and shared goals where each member of the team can use their strengths for the benefit of the project. We know that you and your key stakeholders often live and breathe the needs of your facilities and how they can best support their occupants in providing a safe, accessible and comfortable environment. We also understand the efforts that have gone into choosing an Architectural and Engineering Team that has the expertise and vision needed to effectively design your facilities.
Define
Once the team is assembled and roles of team members defined, the goals and priorities of the project must be defined. This is typically done with a kick-off meeting where the Owner and key stakeholders, with the assistance of other team members, are given the opportunity to present the needs of the facilities and the priorities of each of those needs. These priorities and goals and priorities early in the process.
Develop
After the project goals and priorities are set, this is when the fun begins. The design team takes the project goals for each facility and begins to put those on paper. This is typically done with schematic drawings or system narratives or a combination of both. This work is done cooperatively with the Construction Manager providing guidance related to preliminary cost estimates increases and adjustments to designs or systems can be continually made to best align the prioritized needs of the projects with the defined budgets. Our experience producing accurate preliminary cost estimates quickly with the help of our strong relationships with local subcontractors and suppliers is critical to the success of a CMAR project in assuring building designs are properly aligned with defined budgets.
